In 2015 Kay joined Moshe Capital as an executive director, looking after the corporate finance advisory business.
Prior to Moshe Capital, she worked in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank advising mining, financial services and consumer goods companies in South Africa and other African countries such as Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Kay was a Corporate Finance Specialist at Sasol Limited, where she led various M&A activities, including the modelling and administration of acquisition and disposal transactions and the liquidation of dormant companies. She was also a part-time lecturer in Financial Reporting and Accounting at the Vaal University of Technology during her time as Sasol.
Kay holds a Bachelor of Business Science with Finance Honours from the University of Cape Town and is a qualified chartered accountant. She is also a graduate of the Columbia Business School Executive Program.
Kay serves on the boards of Mining Minerals & Metals Plc (listed on the London Stock Exchange) and Yalu Financial Services (Pty) Limited.
